BetBoom Team defeat Team Falcons 2–0 at the Esports World Cup 2025 (BO2)
Eastern Europe’s BetBoom Team cruised past Western Asia’s Team Falcons with a 2–0 sweep in Group B at the Esports World Cup 2025.
Map 1 was a controlled display from BetBoom, with gpk delivering a flawless midlane performance that opened up the entire map. Pure~ kept up the pressure on his carry, finding clean pickoffs and big teamfight conversions. Save- was everywhere with his rotations, and the game ended in 46 minutes with BetBoom leading 35–20. Map 2 turned into a marathon, but the Russians never lost grip. MieRo and Kataomi made sure every inch of space was contested, while Pure~ farmed nonstop to stay miles ahead in net worth. Despite Falcons dragging the game past 80 minutes, they couldn’t find a breakthrough. BetBoom closed it out with better discipline and coordination.

With this win, BetBoom Team now sit tied at the top of Group B alongside Gaimin Gladiators, both holding 3–1 records. Team Falcons fall to 1–3 and remain winless in terms of series. The group wraps up on July 10, where BB Team will face Execration and Falcons go up against Gaimin Gladiators. A win guarantees BetBoom a playoff spot, while Falcons now rely on multiple tiebreaker scenarios to survive.
