PGL Wallachia Season 3 Playoff Stage Day 2 Summary
From March 8 to March 16, 2025, one of the biggest local Dota 2 tournaments of the year — PGL Wallachia Season 3 — will take place in Bucharest, Romania. The tournament features 16 teams, half of which received direct invitations from the organizers, while the other half qualified through regional qualifiers. The first stage of the tournament has already been played, and the playoffs are currently underway, with the second round taking place on March 14. Teams Eliminated from the Playoffs
With the second round already played, some teams have used their one chance for a mistake and had to fight in the lower bracket. As a result, a few teams have been eliminated from the PGL Wallachia Season 3 playoffs, including Team Tidebound and Gaimin Gladiators. These teams finish in 7th-8th place, earning $40,000 in prize money.
What Are the Next Matches?
PGL Wallachia Season 3 is gradually entering its decisive phase, with only six teams remaining in contention. On March 15, 2025, three matches will be played:
- Team Liquid vs. Team Falcons – Upper Bracket Final for a spot in the Grand Final.
- Tundra Esports vs. Aurora Gaming – Lower Bracket Quarterfinal.
- Xtreme Gaming vs. Team Spirit – Lower Bracket Quarterfinal.
