Results of DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division I: stability among the leaders, B8 retain their place in the division
Maksym ShylovThe DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division I has come to an end, which ended with the victory of B8 in the match against ALPHA. The best representatives of a far from the best region in Dota 2 fought for the opportunity to go to the first Major of the season. As a result of the competition, TSM and Shopify Rebellion received tickets to Lima.
There were no surprises this time either. The main favorites of the region were TSM, Shopify Rebellion, who signed the former Evil Geniuses roster, and nouns. They also shared the first 3 lines of the championship. The updated TSM roster became DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division I champions without losing a single match. The nouns were able to win the only card from the future winners.
We were pleasantly surprised by the newcomers of the first division, the Wildcard Gaming team. The team, assembled from representatives of America and Eastern Europe, lost only to the leaders of the region and stopped at 4th place.
The Ukrainian club B8 became the most unpredictable participant of the first DPC tour in North America. Dendi introduced a new Dota 2 roster and decided to move from North America. The predominantly Ukrainian roster lost 5 matches in a row and did not look the best, but in the end Dendi and the team defeated the main outsiders of the tournament Thiuth Gaming and ALPHA. Thus, the B8 finished one step away from being relegated, i.e. in 6th place.
