Quincy Crew will not play at DPC 2022/2023 Winter Tour 1: NA Division I
/North American team Quincy Crew will miss DPC 2022/2023 Winter Tour 1: NA Division I. This was announced on Twitter by the manager of the KBBQ roster, who spoke about the sale of a slot in the first division to an unnamed organization.
Unfortunately, I am reporting what is already widely known: there will be no Quincy Crew on this tour. The slot will be used by another team, which will announce this later. It's been a hell of a ride, thanks to all the players and the amazing people behind the scenes at Quincy Crew.
Recall that the Quincy Crew team took second place in the DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I (ESL One Summer 2022), after which it was bought out by Soniqs. However, after the end of The International 2022, the club announced the parting with the squad, the future of which was in limbo.
Note that from the previous convocation of the Quincy Crew, only Quinn, who recently joined the Gaimin Gladiators, found a new team. The future of the rest of the team is unknown.
The Quincy Crew slot will go to a roster currently represented by layme, esK, Napkin, N1ne and lilskrip. However, none of the organizations have yet declared a collective.
