The third game day of The International 2022 started with a European derby. OG and Gaimin Gladiators played for the right to get into the TOP-8.

The fight turned out to be rich in bright moments and became the first match in the main stage of The International 2022, which ended on three maps. OG snatched the victory.

During the match, the updated roster of the legendary tag encountered problems more than once: on the first map, OG confidently played a combo of Slardar + Invoker + Monkey King, which paid off, but on the second map, Yuragi lost control on Faceless Void, switching the game to matchpoint. In the decisive map, OG focused on a massive fight, picking Jakiro, Sand King and Invoker against the pressing pick of Shadow Fiend and Beastmaster.

After a not very successful start, OG took successful fights on their side several times, gaining a foothold in the leading position with a subsequent victory. Gaimin Gladiaotrs leave the tournament at the TOP-12 stage, earning $342,468.

OG move further along the grid. The next opponent of the European five will be the winner of the Team Liquid – Entity pair, whose match will start next.

Recall that The International 2022 runs from October 15 to 30 this year. The top 20 teams from around the world compete in LAN format for the title of world champion, as well as the largest prize pool of the year. At the moment, its amount is $17,076,465. The venue is Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
