Don't miss the start of qualification for The International 2022 in Eastern Europe!

Tomorrow morning, on September 3rd, the first fights in the qualifiers for the main Dota 2 event, The International 2022, will begin. The qualification will last until September 7th. You can read the preview of The International 2022: Eastern Europe Qualifier in the corresponding news.

Members

The top 14 Eastern European teams that did not qualify for the World Championship based on DPC points will compete for the only slot at The International. The teams that will take 2nd and 3rd places will go to the Last Chance Qualifier, where the fate of the last 2 trips to Singapore will be decided.

Format

The qualifying tournament will be held as part of the Double-Elimination bracket. Matches of the first round of the lower bracket will be played in bo1 format. All other matches, except for the grand final, will be presented as a bo3 series. The decisive match will be played up to 3 wins (bo5).

Matches of the first game day:

  • X3 vs. Team Unique - 09:00 EEST
  • cybercats vs. HYDRA - 10:00 AM EEST
  • Outsiders vs. Pari Parni - 11:00 AM EEST
  • PuckChamp vs. Mind Games - 14:00 EEST
  • Natus Vincere vs HellRaisers — 17:00 EEST
  • One Move vs BetBoom Team - 20:00 EEST

The first gaming day will begin with two matches of the lower bracket, that is, 2 teams will leave the qualification in the morning. Then the audience will watch the matches of the upper bracket.

Recall that The International 11 will be held from 15 to 30 October this year. This time the tournament will be held in Singapore. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete for the biggest prize pool of the year. Its amount is determined by sales of the Battle Pass.
