The ESL One Malaysia 2022 group stage is in full swing. The second game day began very intensely, as part of the first stream of Group A matches, both leaders and outsiders met. Below you can find out how the fights ended.

Team Aster vs. Team Secret

The meeting between the two favorites began very dynamically, instead of a single FB, it turned out to be a 5x5 mass fight. At 20 seconds before the start of the match, the score was already 3-4 in favor of Aster. Then the standard kill exchanges, in which the advantage of “Secret” was felt too strongly, thanks to the pick of Dawnbreaker and Tusk, the mid game was completely under their control. Despite all the comeback attempts, Monet and the team could not oppose anything to the opponents. The first map ended with the victory of Team Secret 55-24.

The second map was mostly controlled by the Chinese team. Thanks to the picks of Monkey King and Enigma, the team felt great in mass fights, and the Tiny + Grimstroke pick gave the team an advantage in the early game. After 20 minutes, Puppey and the team failed to win a single fight, so Team Aster closed out the opponents with a score of 33-14.

Talon Esports vs Alliance

The match between the outsiders of the group was no less interesting. On the first map, the Swedes completely crushed the opponents, partly thanks to Huskar's last pick on the mid, however, Nikobaby on the nerfed Pudge was also almost unkillable. Alliance closed the opponents in an easy position with a score of 19-4.

The second map was more intense, despite the initial dominance from Alliance, the representatives of Southeast Asia fought back well, thanks to Mikoto's Invoker pick. After several successful fights, 23savage and the team began to gain a critical advantage, and it became clear that they could not be stopped. The match ended at 45 minutes in favor of Talon Esports with a score of 56-28.

Entity vs. Thunder Awaken

The only confrontation that ended in a clear victory for one of the teams. The first map went very smoothly, the teams exchanged keels without much advantage in either direction. The decisive fight took place at 40 minutes, despite the fact that PA is not a frequent guest on the pro scene, Pakazs performed superbly in this match, finishing the match with KD 30-6, which brought Thunder Awaken a victory, with a score of 44-26.

The second map at the beginning was a complete reflection of the first, the teams went toe to toe, not allowing one of them to get ahead. This went on until the 16th minute, when a great fight in favor of the Peruvian team did not allow them to gain advantages. After that, Entity dropped their hands, the next skirmishes were completely under the control of Matthew and the team, which allowed them to finish the match at the 26th minute with a score of 24-10.
