PGL Arlington Major 2022: results of the first stream of matches of the fourth gaming day

The first matches in group A of the fourth game day of the PGL Arlington Major are over. All teams fight in bo2 matches. Let's consider the results of the first stream of matches of the fourth game day.

OG vs Thunder Awaken

On the first map, Thunder Awaken managed to impose their game, which continued with varying success until the 33rd minute. However, OG managed to turn the tide on the map and won it with a score of 26:28 in 42 minutes.

Thunder Awaken turned out to be weaker than OG on the second map and failed to draw the series. Also, the club from South America was marked by annoying mistakes, such as not using the Black King Bar and an unsuccessful build on Snapfire.

OG 2:0 Thunder Awaken

PSG.LGD vs Outsiders

The unconditional favorites of the group represented by PSG.LGD on the first map left no chance for the Russian team. The Chinese confidently outplayed the Outsiders in 27 minutes with a score of 27:9. It's worth noting Ame, who, playing Lone Druid, finished with a 7-0-5 statistic.

Despite a good pick of the Outsiders on the second map, where they bet on a strong procast, the representatives of Eastern Europe could not cope with the Chinese individual performance. 36 minutes of play, 14:25 in favor of The International 10 vice-champions. The victory in the series guaranteed PSG.LGD a place in the upper bracket.

Talon Esports vs Team Liquid

Representatives of Southeast Asia were able to draw the series after a disastrous start. Team Liquid defeated their opponents in 25 minutes with a score of 23:5 on the first map. The second part of this series was somewhat more competitive. Talon rehabilitated and outplayed MATUMBAMAN and the team in 29 minutes.

Soniqs vs Fnatic

Soniqs were tasked with winning or at least drawing before the match to improve their chances of clinging to a slot in the lower bracket of the playoffs. YawaR and the team showed quite a competitive game on the first map, but lost to Fnatic in 41 minutes with a score of 29:23.

The former Quincy Crew showed poor play both on the lanes and as a team, which forced them to write “gg” in the chat in 28 minutes with a score of 10:22. Ahead of the American team is another duel against the Outsiders, and Soniqs may surprise you, because they are the only team that won at least one map in the group against PSG.LGD.

Soniqs 0:2 Fnatic
