ESL Stockholm Major 2022: BetBoom Team finish their performance at the tournament
Yuriy SheremetThe first match in the arena with spectators since 2020 took place. Beastcoast and BetBoom Team have opened the offline stage of ESL One Stockholm 2022 at Hovet Arena in the capital of Sweden.
The debut confrontation in front of the longing public turned out to be very colorful. A full b3 with constant exchanges of pleasantries and coups on both sides.
BB Team took the lead in the series by winning 1 map with Daxak's signature Natures Prophet. The Peruvian five from Beastcoast responded at map number 2 with K1's Wraith King and Chris Luck's Storm Spirit.
The fate of the last representative of Eastern Europe was decided on the third map. BB Team controlled the first 20 minutes of the game with tempo Ursa and Leshrac in addition to Doom, however, a series of competent fights from Beastcoast led to a significant lead of Juggernaut from their counterparts, and as a result, to the victory of Beastcoast.
BB Teams leave ESL One Stockholm in 7-8th place and earn $12,500 and 240 DPC points. Beastcoast advance to the next round against the Gladiators.
OG and Fnatic will be next on the stage at Hovet Arena. The winner of this pair will play against Thunder Awaken in the next round of the lower bracket.
