PGL will hold the next Dota 2 Major tournament in Arlington
The Major championship has just ended, and information about the next such event has already appeared on the network. This time, the well-known insider and journalist Vikram Reddy shared the details, delighting fans of eSports and Dota 2 in particular. The next Major tournament will be held in Arlington, USA. The organizers will once again be PGL, and the championship will have the corresponding name PGL Arlington Major 2022. This is where the teams fighting in the Dota Pro Circuit professional league will now make their way.
The action of PGL Arlington Major 2022 will unfold from August 4 to 14. As for the prize fund, it will still be $500,000.
The last tournament, ESL One Stockholm 2022, took place from 12 to 22 May. Its total prize fund was the same half a million dollars. The main cash reward of $200,000, as well as 680 Dota Pro Circuit rating points and the championship title went to the OG team, in which, by the way, the veteran and two-time World Champion Sebastian 'Ceb' Debs, who ended his playing career, acted as a replacement. The second place was taken by TSM, who received $100,000, and Tundra Esports became the bronze medalist there.
