Misha won't help OG at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022
/The European esports organization OG issued a social announcement, stating that Misha will not help the team at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. His place on the server will be taken by the team's current coach, Chuvash.
Our Dota 2 team has successfully made it to Dubai except for our captain Misha, who will not be able to take part in this tournament.
Given the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, it was unclear if Misha would be able to return to Europe to resolve all of his visa issues. We do not want to jeopardize the safety of our players traveling at this time.
Luckily we have a lot of support as our coach Chuvash will replace him throughout the event and will be playing in the fifth position.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of the playing teams. Earlier, Team Spirit announced that Mira would miss GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. The Ukrainian esportsman is in Kyiv and cannot leave the country due to the war.
GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 will take place from 2 to 6 March in Dubai. The prize fund of the championship is about $272,482. OG will play in Group B along with BOOM Esports, Nigma Galaxy SEA, Team Secret and Virtus.pro.
