Mushi will not help BOOM Esports at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022
/Indonesian esports organization BOOM Esports has announced that coach Mushi will not help the team at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. In an official statement, the club said that the team's mentor underwent nose surgery, in connection with which the organization provided the specialist with additional time to recover. At the same time, the 31-year-old Malaysian coach will help the team in the championship remotely.
Announcement to our fans regarding Mushi's participation at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. Returning from our victory at the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Finals, our trainer Mushi underwent nasal polyp surgery and was required to check with the doctor weekly. Although the doctors allowed him to join the team for this event, we decided it would be best for him to rest.
He is still doing his coaching duties remotely and will fly to the Philippines with the rest of the team after the championship is over.
Recall that Mushi led BOOM Esports in October last year. In a few months, the 31-year-old Malaysian specialist helped the team win four tournaments, including BTS Pro Series Season 9: Southeast Asia and DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Finals.
GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 will take place from 2 to 6 March in Dubai. The prize fund of the championship is about $272,482. BOOM Esports will play in the same group with Nigma Galaxy SEA, OG and Team Secret.
Earlier, the Russian esports organization Virtus.pro announced that the club's Dota 2 roster will not take part in the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022.
The BOOM Esports roster is currently as follows:
