In the first match of IEM China 2024, Astralis played against steel helmet, as Monte could not make it to China. And if Monte had played there, the score would hardly have been as lopsided as 13-2 in Astralis’ favor. However, judging by the match against FaZe, where Astralis were a cut above and beat the world’s top team 2-0, perhaps Astralis were really fired up for IEM China 2024. In the playoffs of the tournament, Astralis met FaZe Clan again, but this time were the weaker team and lost 1-2, exiting the tournament.

FaZe Clan roster: karrigan, Twistzz, Frozen, broky, jcobbb.
This victory was followed by 2nd place finishes at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023.

They won the deciding match against FURIA, qualifying for the playoffs. In the playoff stage FaZe beat Vitality, and then eliminated one of the main tournament favorites — G2 Esports — in a tense 2-0 series. In the grand final they lost to Spirit 1-2.
At IEM Katowice 2025, FaZe started in the upper bracket of Group A, where they defeated BIG, but lost to Vitality. In the second round of the lower bracket they beat G2 Esports, but their playoff run was blocked by Eternal Fire.
