FACEIT showed what the list of teams that were invited to participate in the closed qualifying round for their new league FLASHPOINT looks like. It is worth paying attention to the fact that it is still not final and may change due to the fact that not all the teams confirmed participation.

In closed qualification, representatives of three divisions will fight: Europe, North America and South America. The number of European participants will be 32 teams, while in North America and South America there will be 16 teams in each division.

The selection process will be held in six stages on the following dates:

  • Stage 1 - February 6-7
  • Stage 2 - February 8
  • Stage 3 - February 9
  • Stage 4 - February 10-11
  • Stage 5 (closed qualification) - February 11-16
  • Stage 6 (LAN-qualification) - March 3-5

In the European selections, 16 teams received invitations:

  • BIG

  • eUnited
  • Swole Identity
  • Riot Squad
  • Mythic
  • Team Envy
  • Chaos Esports Club
  • Triumph

  • Isurus Gaming
  • Infinity
  • Bravos
  • W7M
  • Detona
  • Red Canids
  • Imperial

Only six participants will leave the closed qualification for the LAN qualification, two from each division. In the global qualifying round, which will be held in Los Angeles, a prize pool of $ 100,000 and two invitations to the FLASHPOINT league will be played.

Earlier it became known that 10 teams have already acquired their place in the tournament from FACEIT. We only know the names of six squads that will take part in the new CS: GO league. It looks like this:

Two FLASHPOINT seasons are planned for 2020. The first of them starts in March. There is no information about the second season yet. Of the 12 participants in the playoffs, 8 teams will be knocked out, which will most likely share the lion's share of the prize.
