Rumor: IEM Fall 2021 Europe will be held in Stockholm
The upcoming IEM Fall 2021 Europe may take place in Stockholm, as reported by the Esports portal, citing its own sources.
In its August announcement, Valve announced that the European part of the competition will be held in a LAN format with the participation of 24 teams. What was missing in the details of the event was the venue, likely due to the uncertainty surrounding the location of the PGL Major.
At the same time, sources told the Esports portal that IEM Fall 2021 Europe will be held in Stockholm in the fall, which indirectly confirms Valve's plans to hold the World Championship in Sweden.
Final confirmation of the venue for both events is likely to arrive on September 16th. This date is the date set by the PGL for the final decision on the venue and for the commencement of ticket sales.

IEM Fall 2021 Europe will take place from September 29 to October 10. The championship will compete for RMR points required to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm 2021, as well as $ 105,000.
