NAVI and FaZe Clan continue to lead at ESL Pro League Season 14
/The second round of Group C within ESL Pro League Season 14 has ended. Following the results of three matches, a duo of the leaders of the standings was formed, among which NAVI is again worth highlighting. But we propose to talk about everything in detail.
BIG - fnatic
The first match of the game day was not fraught with much intrigue until the moment when the players did not get to the server. Already on the first map, the British-Swedish tandem began to impose their game, every now and then neglecting the intransigence of the opponent. And if the first half, as expected, went in favor of BIG, then after the change of sides fnatic finally returned to the game, allowing the Germans to take only one round - 16:10.
Who would doubt that the German team will pick Dust 2. Besides, no one argued with the fact that fnatic looks awful on a classic map for the discipline. And so the second map began, which quickly spilled over into the play of the actors of only one German theater. Already before the side switching, BIG identified a comfortable advantage, which it quickly developed in defense. As a result, fnatic only bothered to play around with a few, having recorded the final defeat - 7:16.
The Nuke map was in favor of the British-Swedish concern, which started off confidently in the attack, switching sides with a minimal advantage. At one point fnatic was close to close all the issues in comfort until BIG started their comeback. As a result, the teams went into overtime, as a result of which the fnatic players turned out to be stronger - 22:18.
NAVI - mousesports
Next in line was the meeting between NAVI and mousesports. There seemed to be a rivalry in store for this encounter worthy of close scrutiny. However, already on the first map, it became clear that the match would be boring, and NAVI would earn an easy three points. Already in defense on Ancient, "Born to Win" amassed a two-fold advantage, calmly exchanging sides. But in attack, NAVI showed an excellent game, gaining a victory at the opponent's pick - 16: 9.
The Mirage map started out in a similar style with only one difference - this time NAVI took eleven rounds before switching sides. However, already at that time it became clear that mousesports would not be able to return to the server, since the difference in class was significant. Well, the map ended with the already familiar score of 16: 9 in favor of NAVI, which after this victory was entrenched as the leader of the tournament table.
FaZe Clan - Evil Geniuses
FaZe Clan and Evil Geniuses saw off the game day. Already on the first map, it became clear that the guys from FaZe Clan approached the match negligently, since they began to give an uncounted number of rounds due to children's mistakes. That only is the excessive aggression of karrigan, which gave the "Evil Geniuses" two or three rounds. As a result, Evil Geniuses gladly took advantage of such gifts, taking their pick with a 16:13 score.
On Mirage, such mistakes from FaZe Clan did not happen, which resulted in a logical leadership even before the change of sides. And even despite the desire of the North American team to return to the game in the second half, FaZe Clan confidently took its map and equalized in the series - 16: 9.
The situation on Dust 2 was initially in favor of Evil Geniuses. However, after the changeover, the North Americans did not come up with anything in the attack, gradually releasing the opponent forward. But one should not neglect the merits of the FaZe Clan players, who at the most important moment showed character and brought the meeting in their favor - 16:13.
