IEM Summer 2021: Virtus.pro finished participation in the tournament
Ihor MatusToday's game day began with bad news for fans of CIS teams and Virtus.pro in particular. Their fight against the French from Vitality ended in failure. The teams first fought on Inferno, and then on Vertigo. On the first map Virtus.pro managed to impose some kind of struggle and took 10 rounds from the opponents, but on Vertigo they completely relaxed and could not take more than five rounds.
Virtus.pro finished their way in the championship and took 5-6 place in the standings, for which they received a reward of $ 10,000. Team Vitality, in turn, advanced to the semifinals, where they will fight with OG, who reached the semifinals directly from the group stage.
Right now there is a fight between Gambit Esports and Evil Geniuses, where sh1ro and his teammates prevail 1-0. The winner of this meeting will face off against G2 Esports for reaching the grand final.
