FUT confidently defeat NRG at PGL Bucharest 2026
The group stage of PGL Bucharest 2026 is underway, and the opening matches are already delivering one-sided affairs. In the matchup between NRG and FUT Esports, the European side left no chances for their opponents, confidently closing the series 2-0 while showcasing full control on both maps.
Map veto:
- NRG removed Overpass
- FUT removed Inferno
- NRG picked Ancient
- FUT picked Nuke
- FUT removed Anubis
- NRG removed Dust2
- Mirage was left over
It was a very convincing win for FUT. The match started on Ancient, where the European squad dictated the pace from the very first round. The first half ended 10:2 in favor of FUT. After the side switch, NRG managed to win only one round. The final score was 13:3 for FUT.
The second map, Nuke, ended in a similar fashion (13:2), where NRG looked completely unprepared for the match.

After such a dominant victory, FUT move forward with a 2-0 record and will secure a playoff spot if they win their next match. Meanwhile, NRG drop to the 1-1 pool.
