The first winner of the closed qualifier for IEM Summer 2021 was announced. The winner of the first semi-final pair was the OG team, which left Movistar Riders out of work with a score of 2: 0.

The match began on Overpass, which was expected to be a problem for the favorite. However, OG, starting on defense, took the lion's share of the rounds, winning the first half. It is obvious that the team's victory in choosing an opponent was a matter of time. As a result, after the lost pistol round, OG was able to complete what it had begun by recording the defeat - 16: 5.

Inferno started out in a similar style - OG quickly got their hands on the map, winning the first half with a double lead. However, after switching sides, Movistar Riders managed to get close to the opponent, forcing him to get a sedative. Nevertheless, OG was able to level the economy by first knocking out the plant and then accepting the opponent as it approached the point. As a result, the team won their map with a score of 16:14, and at the same time qualified for IEM Summer 2021.

As for Movistar Riders, tomorrow the team will play against the winner of the BIG - mousesports pair.
