More details about DreamHack Open March 2021 revealed
The organizers of the upcoming March CS: GO championship revealed new details about the tournament.
In North America, the closed qualifier will run from February 25 to February 27. 8 teams will take part in it, 4 of which will receive direct invitations. The rest of the four will have to earn the right to participate in the closed qualifiers through two preliminary open qualifiers, in each of which there will be two invitations. The first open qualifying round will take place from 18 to 19 February, and the second from 20 to 21.
In South America, closed qualifiers will also be held from February 25 to 27, however, as for the open qualifier, the date is still unknown.
In each of the divisions, as part of the closed rounds, two invitations to the final part of the event will be drawn.
DreamHack Open March 2021 starts on March 10 and ends on the 14th. In North America, eight teams will compete for a total prize pool of $ 70,000, $ 35,000 of which will go to the winner, and in South America, four teams will split $ 30,000 among each other. The main reward there will be $ 16,000.
