The penultimate day of DreamHack Open January 2021: Europe has ended, during which we witnessed two bright semi-finals for the events.

BIG and Spirit met in the first semifinal. Already at Inferno, the “dragons” showed an incredible game in attack, winning the first half. However, the lack of defense put an end to the possible victory of Spirit, having recorded the final score of 16:14. At Nuke, the Russian team again took the initiative into their own hands, earning a large lead before the changeover. However, despite the weak attacking play, Spirit still managed to get a victory on the opponent's map - 16:12. The decisive Dust 2 was not without additional rounds. The teams could not decide on the winner for a long time, until Spirit took over the game and finished the map with a score of 19:17.

In the second semi-final, Gambit hosted FunPlus Phoenix. However, already at the start of the meeting, the favorite swam, giving the former GODSENT roster the Inferno card with a score of 16: 8. Nevertheless, on Overpass, the Russian team quickly restored the status quo, documenting the complete defeat with a 16: 2 score. The intrigue returned to Train again, however, Gambit floated in the second half, letting the rival in the grand final of the championship.
