DreamHack Open January Europe 2021: BIG and Gambit Esports reach the playoffs
Yesterday ended the first matches of the group stage, which determined the participants in the playoffs. In Group A, BIG defeated Evil Geniuses with a score of 2-1, while Gambit Esports beat Team Spirit with a similar result. Thus, BIG and Gambit became the first participants in the final stage.
HellRaisers and forZe, in turn, lost their chances of reaching the playoffs and finished their way in the championship. They took 7th-8th place in the standings and received $ 1,500 each.
Today will give us the opportunity to watch the two remaining matches in the group stage. In Group A, Evil Geniuses and FPX Esports will fight for the last invite, and in Group B, Team Spirit and Sprout.
