G2 Esports defeated FURIA 2-0 in the Swiss round of ESL Pro League Season 22.

The best-of-three match, played on LAN in Stockholm, pushed G2 to a 2-0 record in the group stage, while FURIA dropped to 1-1. G2 opened the series by winning on their map pick, Train, with a 13-11 scoreline. The European squad maintained control on Dust2, securing another 13-8 victory to close out the series. Inferno was left over but not played. Slovakian rifler Matúš “ MATYS ” Šimko stood out for G2, finishing with a 39-28 scoreline and a 1.47 rating across two maps. Support came from Álvaro “ SunPayus ” García and Nikita “ HeavyGod ” Martynenko, both contributing solid fragging numbers.
