The MongolZ claimed a 2-0 series win over 3DMAX in the IEM Cologne 2025 Group A upper bracket quarter-final. The Mongolian squad closed Nuke (13–2) and Ancient (13–10), led by bLitz’s 1.50 rating and mzinho’s decisive clutches. With this victory, The MongolZ advance to face Falcons, while 3DMAX drop to the lower bracket.

Map 1 – Nuke (13:2 The MongolZ)

3DMAX’s map pick quickly turned one-sided. The MongolZ started on the CT side with a dominant 10–2 halftime lead, shutting down early executes. 910 delivered back-to-back 1v2 clutch rounds, while Techno and bLitz combined for multi-kill holds. 3DMAX could not recover in the second half, losing three consecutive rounds to close the map.

Map 2 – Ancient (13:10 The MongolZ)

The MongolZ’s pick proved more contested. They led 7–5 at halftime, but 3DMAX stayed competitive thanks to clutch plays from Maka and Graviti. However, mzinho’s critical 1v4 pre-plant hold in Round 22 swung momentum back, and Techno sealed the series with a quick 1v2 on match point.

The MongolZ move to the Group A upper semi-finals to play Falcons. 3DMAX fall to the lower bracket, where they will meet GamerLegion in an elimination match.
