Liquid on the edge after 0-2 start in Stage 3

Team Liquid are on the brink of elimination at the BLAST.tv Austin Major after back-to-back defeats to Lynn Vision and The MongolZ. Both matches ended 13–5 and 13–7, exposing major coordination issues across maps.

Against Lynn Vision on Dust2, Liquid never got rolling. Their crew looked flat from the start, going down 3–9 on their T side. The Chinese squad ran clean setups, with Westmelon and C4LLM3SU3 combining for 29 frags and multiple post-plant clutches. Twistzz and NAF tried to recover momentum late, but the team fell short with a 5–13 final score.

The MongolZ match on Ancient didn’t go much better. After a close first half (5–7), Liquid were outclassed on CT, losing six of the final eight rounds. bLitz dominated with a 21–9 statline and 115.4 ADR, while NertZ was the only bright spot for Liquid with a 1.22 rating. The rest of the squad finished with negative K/D and low impact, including a rough 6–17 from ultimate.
