The MongolZ beat FURIA 2-0 at IEM Dallas
The MongolZ continue to prove they’re not just a hype team—they’re here to win. In their opening IEM Dallas 2025 match, the Mongolian squad breezed past Brazil’s FURIA with a 2-0 victory, led by Ayush "mzinho" Batbold and Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch, both ending with 1.32 ratings.
FURIA kicked things off with their pick of Anubis, but couldn’t hold their own. Despite a 6–6 half, The MongolZ locked down the defense and closed it out 13–7. Mirage followed, and once again the MongolZ had full control, wrapping up another 13–7 scoreline with slick executes and an impenetrable B site.
mzinho was all over the scoreboard—clutches, multikills, and crisp rifles—while 910 stole the show with a 4-kill AWP round on Mirage that completely shut down FURIA’s late-game hopes. Meanwhile, FURIA’s heavy hitters like FalleN, yuurih, and KSCERATO couldn’t break past the disciplined defense, and YEKINDAR had an especially rough outing with just 17 kills and a 0.62 rating.
