Based Mirage! Both teams had their opening match at the PW Shanghai Major 2024, with fnatic starting on the CT side.

Fnatic showed strong performance but faltered in reckless rounds. This seemed like luck for Wildcard, as mistakes in duels led to lost rounds in the first half. However, Wildcard’s strategic execution allowed them to keep up and eventually claim a logical victory.

Fnatic won the pistol round with two survivors, ending with two headshots by blameF. Wildcard gained momentum in the third round, intercepting fnatic’s mid control attempt and preserving five weapons—2-1. The teams Fnatic Wildcard tied at 3-3. In the sixth round, fnatic's solid defense pushed them ahead, 6-3, but Wildcard responded with a successful B-site push, ending 6-4.

In the eleventh round, Wildcard planted on an empty B-site without opposition—a gift from fnatic’s misjudgment. The last round of the first half ended with a stunning noscope headshot by nawwk on B, closing it at 7-5 before switching sides.

Fnatic secured the pistol round on attack, taking A-site with textbook execution—8-5. Wildcard forced successfully for 8-6, highlighted by Sonic’s clean Deagle headshot. Fnatic replied with a mid-to-A push for 9-6.
