The NaVi team defeated Outsiders with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the semi-finals of IEM Katowice 2023. Here, the "Born to Win" will meet with Heroic, which became the strongest in group B. In turn, the Outsiders leave the championship, taking 5-6th place and earning $40,000.

The first quarter-final of the tournament started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the Russian team. At the same time, initially a stubborn struggle reigned on the server, which every now and then changed the owner by initiative. However, towards the end of the first half, Born to Win managed to take control of the game in order to get a comfortable advantage - 9:6. After switching sides, the Outsiders quickly closed the lead, but the game leveled off again and the teams exchanged rounds for a long time. However, in the end, NAVI managed to turn on again to break the opponent and take the lead in the series — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of NAVI. Here, the starting advantage went into the treasury of dastan's wards, who decided to start for the attack. However, towards the end of the first half, "Born to Win" managed to noticeably even out the situation and reduce the gap to one round - 8:7. After the side switch, the Outsiders won the pistol round, but NAVI managed to win the return force round to turn the game around. As a result, the Ukrainian team confidently brought the matter to victory and reached the semi-finals of the tournament — 16:12.
