9INE qualified for IEM Brazil 2023

The 9INE team became another participant in the upcoming IEM Brazil 2023. According to the results of the closed European qualifier, the Polish team won three victories, thanks to which they became the winner of the qualifiers. The last available slot for the tournament from the region will be played by the teams HONORIS and BIG.

As part of the closed qualifier, the 9INE team managed to beat Sprout (2:1), Monte (2:1) and HONORIS (2:0), thanks to which they got a ticket to the upcoming championship in Brazil.

  • 4th place: ENCE
  • 5th-6th place: HEET and Monte

The current line-up of IEM Brazil 2023: FaZe Clan, NAVI, FURIA, Team Vitality, OG, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pajamas, MOUZ, fnatic, Outsiders, Heroic, 9INE and IHC Esports.

Earlier, the organizers presented eleven invited participants of the upcoming tournament. As the organizers noted, some teams, including Team Liquid, G2 Esports and Team Spirit, refused to play at the event due to scheduling difficulties.

IEM Brazil 2023 will take place April 17-23 in Brazil. Presumably, the venue for the competition will be Rio de Janeiro, where IEM Rio Major 2022 took place last year. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000, as well as a ticket at IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.
