The IHC Esports team qualified for the upcoming IEM Brazil 2023. The Mongolian team became the winner of the closed qualifier for Asia, thanks to which they guaranteed their participation in the tournament in Brazil.

During the qualifiers, IHC Esports managed to lose to Eruption (0:2) and fall into the lower bracket of the qualifiers. However, this fact did not bother the Mongolian team at all, which turned out to be stronger than Team Renewal (2:0), Eruption (2:0) and Lynn Vision Gaming (2:0) to earn a ticket to IEM Brazil 2023.

Closed qualifier results for IEM Brazil 2023 for Asia:

  • 1st place: IHC Esports - ticket to IEM Brazil 2023
  • 2nd place: Lynn Vision Gaming
  • 3rd place: Eruption
  • 4th place: Team Renewal

The current line-up of IEM Brazil 2023: FaZe Clan, NAVI, FURIA, Team Vitality, OG, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pajamas, MOUZ, fnatic, Outsiders, Heroic and IHC Esports.

Earlier, the organizers presented eleven invited participants of the upcoming tournament. As the organizers noted, some teams, including Team Liquid, G2 Esports and Team Spirit, refused to play at the event due to scheduling difficulties.

IEM Brazil 2023 will take place April 17-23 in Brazil. Presumably, the venue for the competition will be Rio de Janeiro, where IEM Rio Major 2022 took place last year. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000, as well as a ticket at IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.
