The Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas has announced forced changes in the starting lineup for the CS:GO discipline. As a result, hampus is forced to leave the team for personal reasons, while maxster will take his place in the roster for participation in BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023. The changes will take effect today, January 25, in the match against Natus Vincere.

Fellow ninjas, in today's game against Natus Vincere, a young ninja master will replace hampus, who was out of action due to unforeseen personal circumstances. maxster will play at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 with the team while we assess the situation and provide an update ahead of the start of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023. At the same time, we ask that you respect hampus' privacy.

Changes are expected to affect the remainder of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023, while specific reasons for the absence of hampus have not been disclosed. At the same time, the Swedish organization said that the question of the participation of the team leader in the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 will appear closer to the start of the event.

maxster is a current Young Ninjas player. The 18-year-old Swede joined the team back in April last year, having since won WePlay Academy League Season 6, as well as being in the top three at Svenska Elitserien Spring 2022, Svenska Elitserien Fall 2022: Online Stage and Svenska Elitserien Fall 2022.

Currently, the Swedish team is preparing for the start of the finals of the lower bracket of group C, where it will meet with Natus Vincere. During the group stage of the championship, Ninjas in Pajamas lost to Natus Vincere (1:2), and also won a victory over BIG (2:0). In case of victory in the next match, the team will make it to the grand final of the quartet, where they will play with G2 Esports.
