Lynn Vision became the champion of ESL Challenger League Season 42: Asia-Pacific

ESL Challenger League Season 42: Asia-Pacific has ended. As part of the tournament, which was held online from August 17 to October 23, fifteen teams from Asia competed for a total prize pool of $20,000, as well as a direct ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. The Chinese team Lynn Vision became the champion of the event, which in the grand final turned out to be stronger than IHC Esports with a score of 3:1 (Default; Ancient - 19:15; Inferno - 12:16; Dust II - 16:12).

The Chinese team got off to a great start in the tournament, scoring seven victories in the group stage, and at the same time losing only one map.

Once in the playoffs, the wards of V4D1M first beat Clutch Gaming (2:0), and then finished with Team NKT (2:0). In the final of the upper bracket, the team confidently outplayed Aravt (2:0) to reach the grand final and gain an advantage over their future rival. In the decisive match of the championship, Lynn Vision managed to defeat IHC Esports (3:1), thus knocking out a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17.
