The quarterfinals of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Americas have come to an end, as a result of which the teams Complexity, LOS + oNe, Evil Geniuses and VERTEX ESC left the championship. In turn, the teams Sharks Esports, MIBR, Fluxo and 00NATION made it to the semi-finals of the competition. In this material, we propose to get acquainted with the results of past confrontations.

Complexity - Sharks Esports

The starting quarter-final of the event began on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. At the same time, Sharks Esports started right off the bat, showing an excellent attack and getting a comfortable advantage - 9:6. After the side switch, the Complexity players failed to return to the server, allowing the opponent to take the lead — 16:9.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which turned out to be the choice of Complexity. Here the Brazilians continued to bend their line, having managed to finish the half in defense with an advantage - 9:6. After the switchover, the North American team tried to cling to the result, but in vain. As a result, Sharks Esports made a sensation and made it to the semi-finals of the competition — 16:14.

MIBR - LOS + oNe

The next match of the championship started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of LOS + oNe. At the same time, the nominal "hosts" immediately seized the initiative on the server, actually resolving all issues after the first half - 11:4. While MIBR failed to impose a fight after the side switch, LOS + oNe players confidently closed the map and took the lead in the series - 16:11.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which turned out to be the choice of MIBR. Here the first half went in an equal fight, albeit with a minimal advantage in favor of LOS + oNe — 8:7. However, after switching sides, the MIBR players still managed to wake up in order to impose their own pace and transfer the series to the deader — 16:13.

Everything was decided on the Dust 2 map, the first half of which ended with the defeat of LOS + oNe - 11:4. After the side switch, the team still tried to return to the game, but MIBR managed to put pressure on it and get through to the next round of the championship — 16:11.

Evil Geniuses - Fluxo

The third quarter-final started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. At the same time, Fluxo had some advantage and even finished the half in defense with a three-round advantage - 9:6. After switching sides, the North Americans managed to join the game in order to transfer the map to overtime. And yet here Fluxo did not let go of the opponent, having managed to take the lead in the series — 19:16.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which became the choice of Evil Geniuses. Now the North American team tried to dictate its own terms, but still finished the first half with a minimal backlog — 8:7. However, after switching sides, Evil Geniuses immediately closed the game and leveled the score in the series without letting the opponent in — 16:11.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, which initially went in favor of the Brazilians, who showed a confident attack — 9:6. Well, after the change of sides, Evil Geniuses failed to return to the game, allowing Fluxo to get an unexpected victory and advance to the semi-finals of the event — 16:8.

00NATION-VERTEX ESC

The final quarter-final started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Australian team. However, 00NATION quickly seized the initiative on the server, closing the half on defense with a twofold advantage - 10:5. After the switchover, VERTEX ESC was unable to return to the game, allowing the Brazilian team to take the lead in the series — 16:11.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which turned out to be the peak of 00NATION. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, albeit with a minimal advantage in favor of the “hosts” – 8:7. However, after the change of sides, everything fell into place, as well as the Australians could not cope with the opponent and allowed 00NATION to get the victory - 16:12.
