Official: s1mple will miss BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022

The Ukrainian esports organization NaVi has officially confirmed the information that s1mple will miss BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 due to personal reasons. As a result, "Born to Win" will play in the championship with headtr1ck as a stand-in. However, the NAVI team sniper can join the team for the Play-In stage, which the organization will announce later.

Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev will miss the group stage of BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 for personal reasons. When s1mple will be able to join the team, we will additionally inform you on social networks and on the website, stay tuned for updates. The place of s1mple will be temporarily taken by NAVI Junior player Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov, who flew to the team's bootcamp and started training. Previously, headtr1ck has already played for the main roster in ESL Pro League Season 5. Together with him, the team won three victories: over AGO (2:0), Evil Geniuses (2:0) and Complexity (2:0).

headtr1ck has already been in the starting lineup of the main team in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 15, where he replaced the ill Boombl4. Then the 18-year-old Ukrainian played with an average rating of 0.97, contributing to the victories over AGO, Evil Geniuses and Complexity Gaming.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 takes place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS, and North America are fighting for a prize pool of $177,498, rating points, and six tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022. Recall that NAVI will play in Group B along with Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming and G2 Esports.
