According to the Dexerto portal, the NaVi team will arrive at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 without their main star. s1mple is at risk of missing the championship in Denmark for personal reasons, while headtr1ck has already gone to a training bootcamp with the team to prepare for the start of the second half of the 2022 season.

An 18-year-old Ukrainian player is heading to the Born to Win bootcamp venue and will replace s1mple if necessary, as last year's best player may miss BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022. This information is consistent with an early announcement from Kostylev himself, who spoke on his Instagram about upcoming "big announcement".

The NAVI roster for BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 is as follows:

  • electroNic
  • perfecto
  • headtr1ck (stand-in)
  • b1t
  • sdy
  • B1ad3 (head coach)

[Updated] On his Instagram, s1mple indirectly confirmed the information that he will miss BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022. In the published story, the Ukrainian sniper wished good luck to his younger teammate.

headtr1ck is no stranger to starting the main team, as the young player played three matches for NAVI in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 15, where he replaced the ill Boombl4. The 18-year-old Ukrainian played back with an average rating of 0.97, contributing to victories over AGO, Evil Geniuses and Complexity Gaming.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 will take place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. Twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America will take part in the championship and compete for a prize pool of $177,498, rating points, as well as six trips to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.

Recall that NAVI will play in the same group with Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming and G2 Esports.
