The grand final of IEM Cologne 2022 is ahead, which means that the fight for the championship MVP title is in full swing. Currently, five players at once claim the right to become the strongest player in IEM Cologne 2022, however, everything will be decided by the results of the final duel between NAVI and FaZe Clan.

The main leader in the fight for MVP is s1mple, who continues to stay at the top of the statistical metrics, playing in the championship with a rating of 1.34. Interestingly, the main pursuer of the Ukrainian NAVI sniper is blameF, who, despite the relegation of Astralis from the championship, scored an impressive rating of 1.29.

Also in the race for the MVP award are three FaZe Clan players - rain, ropz and Twistzz. All three have the same rating of 1.16, but to win the nomination, one of them will have to successfully play the grand final of IEM Cologne 2022.

However, the best player of IEM Cologne 2022 will be determined by the results of the grand final, which will bring together the two best teams on the planet - NAVI and FaZe Clan.

IEM Cologne 2022 takes place from 5 to 17 July in Germany at the Hyatt Regency Cologne and LANXESS arena venues. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, China, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the BLAST Premier table.

  • 2nd place: $180,000 + 1,600 BLAST Premier points
  • 3rd-4th place: Astralis and Movistar Riders — $80,000 + 1,000 BLAST Premier points
  • 5th-6th place: MOUZ and Team Liquid — $40,000 + 300 BLAST Premier points
  • 7th-8th place: Ninjas in Pajamas and FURIA Esports — $24,000 + 300 BLAST Premier points
