Movistar Riders vs Team Liquid: will the Spaniards continue to surprise?

Add as a Preferred Source

The second quarterfinal of IEM Cologne 2022 will start very soon, in which Movistar Riders and Team Liquid will clash. It is unlikely that anyone will argue that the Spaniards have become a real sensation of the championship, losing only to NAVI. Although it must be said that few people saw Team Liquid in the playoffs, so the meeting will be filled with maximum intrigue.

During the current tournament, Movistar Riders has already outplayed MIBR, Vitality (twice) and G2 Esports, and also lost to NAVI. In turn, the North American team, having started their performances with a defeat from Team Spirit, went through 00NATION, Cloud9 and FURIA.

Within the framework of the current season, the teams held one meeting - at ESL Pro League Season 15, the victory went to Movistar Riders (2:1).

We believe that in this fight we will not see the Dust 2 and Nuke cards, which will remove Movistar Riders and Team Liquid, respectively. At the same time, each of the teams has one or two good maps, thus having a good choice for the game and having a chance to surprise.

You can find a detailed analysis of this meeting in our video.
