Only two teams from the TOP-10 of the world ranking, NaVi and FaZe Clan, became participants in the playoffs of IEM Cologne 2022. The remaining four teams, MOUZ, Astralis, Team Liquid and Movistar Riders are outside the top ten.

On the eve of "Born to Win" returned to the first line in the world rankings according to HLTV.

This is an amazing observation as IEM Cologne 2022 is one of the biggest championships in the first half of the season. However, many favorites including Heroic, Ninjas in Pajamas, Team Vitality and Cloud9 failed to make it to the playoffs.

At the same time, there was a place for MOUZ (14th line), Movistar Riders (13th line), Astralis (11th line) and Team Liquid (17th line). However, there is a chance that these teams will break into the top ten after the end of the championship, when they receive additional points for getting into the TOP-6 at IEM Cologne 2022.
