guerri, who is a FURIA coach, shared his thoughts on the upcoming meeting with Team Spirit as part of IEM Cologne 2022. According to the 32-year-old Brazilian specialist, he and his team want to take revenge on the Russian team after two defeats at the Belgian major.

When we arrived here in Cologne, we understood that this was the last tournament in the first half of the season, because of which we felt the pressure of the Brazilian public. We ourselves need to show everyone that we are a team that performed well at ESL Pro League Season 15, Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR and the Major. We just need to build up the confidence we had back then.

The game against the Outsiders was very important for us, because before that we lost three BO3s. For us, this is a big victory. Despite the fact that the beginning was very difficult, we gradually returned to the game.

I want to take revenge on Team Spirit because they outplayed us at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

Today, July 10, FURIA will play with Team Spirit in the semi-finals of the lower bracket of group B. Earlier, the Brazilian team lost to Astralis and also outplayed Outsiders.

IEM Cologne 2022 takes place from 5 to 17 July in Germany at the Hyatt Regency Cologne and LANXESS arena venues. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, China, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the BLAST Premier table.
