The Heroic team outplayed MOUZ with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022. In turn, the European team went to the lower bracket of the Play-In stage, where they will play with the winner of the TYLOO meeting - MIBR.

The first quarter-final of the upper bracket started on the Ancient map, which became the choice of MOUZ. However, the audience did not see the fight on the first map, as the Danish team closed the half of the defense too confidently, allowing the opponent to win only one round. After switching sides, the "mouse" managed to join the game, but it was too late. As a result, Heroic confidently closed the opponent's pick and took the lead in the series — 16:5.

The teams then moved on to the Inferno map, which became Heroic's choice. Now MOUZ had the initiative in the first half, managing to convert the defensive side with a score of 12:3. After switching sides, the Danes began to correct their position, at some point approaching at arm's length. However, MOUZ managed to turn on at the right moment to take the game back under his control, and then level the score in the series - 16:11.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, the first half of which ended with a twofold advantage in favor of Heroic. Well, after the change of sides, the Danish team quickly broke away from the opponent, thanks to which, without any hassle, they closed the series in their favor and made it to the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022 — 16:7.

IEM Cologne 2022 takes place from 5 to 17 July in Germany at the Hyatt Regency Cologne and LANXESS arena. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, China, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the BLAST Premier table.
