Esports Club Kyiv is the champion of Esport Tour 2022: Series #2

Esport Tour 2022: Series #2 has ended. As part of the event, which ran online from June 22 to July 3, sixteen teams from Europe competed for a combined prize pool of $4,885. The winner of the championship was the Ukrainian team Esports Club Kyiv, which in the grand final was stronger than Sangal Esports with a score of 2:0 (Inferno - 16:10; Overpass - 16:12).

The Ukrainian team started their way in the tournament from the group stage, during which they lost to Ungentium (1:2), but then outplayed PACT (2:0) and took revenge on Ungentium (2:0), making it to the playoffs. Here Esports Club Kyiv beat Into The Breach (2:1), BLUEJAYS (2:1) and Sangal Esports (2:0) one by one, thus winning the Esport Tour 2022: Series #2.

Thanks to this victory, the Ukrainian team moved to the second line in the standings of the series, which brought them closer to a ticket to the Esport Tour 2022.

It should be noted that in a separate meeting for the 3rd place, the victory went to another Ukrainian team — B8. The wards of rjy coped with BLUEJAYS (2:0).

  • 1st place: Esports Club Kyiv — $3,108 + 10 points.
  • 2nd place: Sangal Esports - $1,110 + 8 points.
  • 3rd place: B8 - $666 + 6 points.
  • 4th place: BLUEJAYS - 6 points.
  • 5th-8th place: Iron Branch, MASONIC, Tricked Esport and Into The Breach - 4 points.
  • 9th-12th place: Ungentium, Illuminar Gaming, Anonymo Esports and eClub Brugge.
  • 13th-16th place: PACT, HONORIS, Nexus Gaming and 777 Esports.
