Team results for the first day of the playoffs at Y-Games PRO Series 2022

NaVi Junior, unexpectedly for many, failed to cope with the Hungarian team ONYX. The junior team of the Born to Win loses with a score of 2:0 (Overpass 16:9; Mirage 16:5).

The first confrontation map was not the best defense for NaVi Junior. Six rounds in defense, taking into account the pistol round taken, this is extremely small. After the switch of sides, Natus Vincere Junior took the pistol round again, the road to the comeback was open. But how cool the Hungarians played both in attack and in defense. It was evident that the NaVi Junior team lacked experience, and, as it were, teamwork with this roster. The map ended 16:9 in favor of ONYX.

The second opposition map was Mirage. On it, the younger part of the Born to Win knows how to play. However, problems began with an uncertain attack for them, five rounds is not enough, but quite enough to feel confident in defense. But as soon as ONYX went over to the side of the terrorists, the chances for at least some rounds for NaVi Junior evaporated. 51% of the rounds won for the side of the special forces, according to statistics, were not visible at all.

The NaVi Junior team is eliminated from the tournament after the first playoff game. They take 5th-8th place and earn €1,500 per team.

It was not difficult for the ECLOT team to defeat the eSuba team. The meeting ended 2:0 (Dust2 16:2; 16:13 Vertigo).

The first confrontation map ended very quickly. It was not difficult for the ECLOT team to win 12 rounds for the attack side on their map choice. The eSuba team barely got three rounds for defense, and after the switch of sides, they could not break through the defense of the ECLOT team. ECLOT 16:3 eSuba.

The second map of the confrontation was more intense than the first. But initially Vertigo started with a 6-round streak to defend ECLOT, and later this led to a 9:1 score. However, eSuba did not want to give up so easily, so they went to a comfortable five rounds for the side of the attackers. After switching sides, eSuba demonstrates a reinforced concrete defense and takes 7 rounds in a row, breaking into the favorites on this map. But ECLOT did not want to go to the third map, so they changed the pace of their attack, which eSuba could not cope with. And according to the results of the last rounds, ECLOT wins the pick of the opponent and the series as a whole. ECLOT 16:13.

eSuba exit the Y-Games PRO Series 2022. They take 5th-8th place, earning €1,500 per team.

In the next match, ECLOT will compete with the ONYX team for reaching the grand final.

Y-Games PRO Series 2022 runs from April 22 to July 8 online. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe are fighting for a prize pool of €40,500.
