The Movistar Riders team has decided to withdraw from the Roobet Cup 2022. The Spanish team faced difficulties in planning their schedule, as a result of which they refused to participate in the championship in favor of ESL Challenger League Season 41: Europe. As a result, Movistar Riders will count a forfeit loss in the game against Complexity Gaming.

We feel that, on a sporting basis, we should withdraw from the Roobet Cup 2022. We apologize to the organizers, talents and you, the fans. Thank you very much for your understanding.

The Spanish team Movistar Riders initially encountered difficulties within the championship, as the first match against Astralis had to be postponed for a day due to technical problems on the server. As a result, the team outplayed that meeting, but lost to the Danes with a score of 0:2 and went to the lower bracket of group B.

However, at the same time, the Spaniards are playing in the playoffs of the ESL Challenger League Season 41: Europe. Since the team made it to the semi-finals of the lower bracket, they would have to give up one of the matches, since both matches were at the same time.
