BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 Review

BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 has ended. If the competitive component of the championship did not raise any questions, then the tournament itself was remembered for a number of other moments that should be separately refreshed in memory. But don't forget NaVi 's first win together with sdy, as well as the 20th MVP award in s1mple's career.

First victory for NAVI since Boombl4 left

Shortly before the start of the championship, NAVI castling, removing Boombl4. At the same time, electroNic became the new captain of the team, as well as sdy became the fifth player in NAVI. Few people could have imagined that the "Born to Win" would show their maximum, just as at the start of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, the wards of B1ad3 lost to OG.

However, then the team managed to beat BIG, FaZe Clan and OG in turn, making it to the grand final. In the decisive match of the championship, NAVI left Vitality behind, thanks to which they won their first tournament after the departure of Boombl4. It is symbolic that sdy was the first to lift the trophy over his head, which during the tournament adapted to the team's game and fit into the structure of the "Born to Win" game.

20 s1mple career MVP award

In parallel with the victory of NAVI at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, s1mple was recognized as the best player of the tournament. This is the first MVP award of the season for the 25-year-old Ukrainian esportsman, as well as 20 in his career. At the same time, s1mple finally overtook dev1ce in terms of the number of MVPs, thus becoming the champion of the discipline.

The NAVI sniper had another outstanding championship, ending it with a rating of 1.37 based on the results of 12 maps played. In addition, in the grand final of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, the Ukrainian became the second player on the server, playing the match against Vitality with a rating of 1.38.

degster teaches youngsters to hit five

degster, who left Team Spirit not so long ago, has already managed to find an intermediate team for himself, having arrived at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 together with OG. Who would have thought that a 20-year-old sniper would immediately fit into the structural design of nexa and become the main star of the team that reached the semi-finals.

However, degster was noted not only for his productive performance at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 - by the way, Abdul entered the symbolic team of the championship as the strongest sniper - but also pleased the Portuguese public with a branded celebration of winning rounds.

In fact, along with degster highlights, it is possible to collect a selection of Abdul's celebrations with the team within the server. Vladyslava_Z, flameZ, ruggah, and even the cameraman - everyone got their share of fame on camera, and then they probably signed up for a massage therapist.

At the same show match, Abdul taught ropz and karrigan how to hit five, who had a lot of fun and adopted the experience of the former Team Spirit player. It seems that next time FaZe Clan will abandon the usual "cams" in favor of the old-fashioned method.

FaZe Clan is still sleeping

Few could argue with the argument that FaZe Clan was the favorite of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022. However, even at the group stage, the team started having problems, as they unexpectedly lost to G2 Esports and reached only the quarterfinals. But here, too, RobbaN's wards were simply declassed by NAVI players, who allowed FaZe Clan to win only seven rounds in two maps.

Apparently, the team is tired of winning all the tournaments in a row. However, after the Major, FaZe Clan lost four out of seven matches, which is definitely suggestive. It remains to be hoped that the team will seize the moment and rest. Although the team has another tournament on its nose - Roobet Cup 2022.
