apEX, captain of Vitality, shared his expectations for his team's playoff performance in an interview with Pley.gg. During the conversation, the 29-year-old French esportsman also touched on the topic of Valve 's latest CS:GO update.

Valve has released a great update. In my opinion, the M4A1-S was too strong, and now the number of rounds in its magazine has been reduced to 20 again. And that's great. In past patches, the developers generally made the right choice - these weapons needed to be strengthened, but not so much. Now with 20 rounds in the magazine, it will be more balanced.

apEX did not forget about the results of Vitality in the group stage of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022.

Of course, today we played with a completely different team: paiN Gaming is slightly weaker than G2 Esports - everyone understands this. We had to win this match, so I don't feel any vivid emotions. I'm not entirely satisfied with the game because the meeting at Dust 2 was very tense and we played very badly.

At the end, an experienced player emphasized that reaching the playoffs of such a tournament is already a great achievement for the Vitality team.

We haven't been on stage yet this year, so I'm really looking forward to the match in front of the fans. It looks like we will face ENCE or OG. I really want to win and go to the semi-finals. I think reaching the semi-finals will be the best result in the history of this squad. This will help us gain confidence. I would say that our team will play great on stage, but now we lack self-confidence. If this problem is solved, everything will be fine.

Recall that according to the results of the group stage, the Vitality team won one victory and also suffered one defeat, thanks to which it made it to the playoffs from the third place. In the quarterfinals of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, the Danish-French team will face ENCE.
