fnatic and Imperial leave Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022

Add as a Preferred Source

Heroic and Finest advance to Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 playoffs.

Heroic vs fnatic

  1. fnatic removed Vertigo
  2. Heroic removed Dust2
  3. fnatic picked Mirage
  4. Heroic picked Overpass
  5. fnatic removed Ancient
  6. Heroic removed Inferno
  7. Nuke was left over

On the first Mirage map, fnatic's offensive rounds didn't go according to their scenario for the most part, Heroic showed a good defense, thanks to which they took half in their favor with a score of 10:5. In the second half, fnatic had no luck in the pistol round and lost it. Heroic almost reached the 15th round on their account with a streak, at which point fnatic are content with the 6th. Then Heroic seemed to be replaced and they couldn't convert at least one round in any way, fnatic came back until 15:14. But already in the last round Heroic snatched victory from their opponents.

The second Overpass map was pretty close, in fact Heroic only won due to the fact that they had a slightly better attack. The first half leaves Heroic with a minimal margin. In the second half, fnatic couldn't show anything until 12:7 in favor of the opponents. After that, fnatic pulled themselves together and lasted until 12:12, but after that their strength was only enough for one more round. 16:13 in favor of Heroic, while fnatic leaves the tournament.

Heroic 2:0

Finest vs Imperial

  1. Imperial removed Ancient
  2. Finest removed Nuke
  3. Imperial picked Overpass
  4. Finest picked Vertigo
  5. Imperial removed Mirage
  6. Finest removed Inferno
  7. Dust2 was left over

Overpass went very well for Imperial in the first half, not without luck, but where would it be without it. But in the end, Finest still managed to take it with a score of 9:6. In the second half, Imperial lost the pistol round, and in the second they managed to win with only usp-s in their hands and even stabbed the player twist from the Finest team. But on this their game ended, and we did not see a clear defense. 16:9 in favor of Finest.

The second map took place in a similar scenario, only here Imperial started on defense. They failed to win half again, Finest leads 9:6. After switching sides, the Brazilians lose their third pistol round in a row. In the second round, they had a successful force round. After that, they won two more rounds, and then they failed to break the Finest defense. Again 16:9 in favor of the Swedes. Imperial are eliminated from the championship without reaching the playoff stage.

Finest will face Heroic in the lower bracket of the playoffs.
