The North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has unveiled the roster that will represent the tag at the upcoming Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022. The club's management entrusted the right to play at the international tournament in Lund to the former Party Astronauts roster, which will start its journey under the name EG.PA.

Recall that the North American club announced the signing of two additional CS:GO rosters last week. The Party Astronauts team was formed in April 2021, having won the Knights: Revival Tournament, ESEA Season 38: Premier Division - North America and iBUYPOWER Mythic Masters Winter 2021.

The EG.PA team will start their journey within the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 from the group stage. In the first match of the championship, the team will meet with Astralis, as well as Team Finest and Imperial Esports will become other rivals for reaching the playoffs.

The opening matches of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 group stage will be held in BO1 format. All the rest are in BO3 format. The winners of each group will advance to the upper bracket final. In turn, the teams that take second places in their quartets will advance to the first round of the lower bracket.

The Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 will be the culmination of over two years of events supported by Pinnacle in partnership with GRID Esports. The tournament will be held from 8 to 11 June in the Swedish city of Lund. The venue for the event will be the Sparbanken Skåne Arena, while participants will compete for a combined prize pool of $250,000.
