Cloud9 became the winner of IEM Dallas 2022

IEM Dallas 2022 has ended. As part of the championship, which was held from May 30 to June 5 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, sixteen teams from Europe, Oceania, North and South America fought for a prize fund of $250,000, as well as rating points to the EPT and BLAST Premier tables. The winner of the tournament was the Cloud9 team, which defeated ENCE in the grand final with a score of 3:0 (Mirage - 16:12; Overpass - 16:11; Ancient - 16:3).

The tournament for the future winner began with a confident victory over Team Liquid (16:6), however, after which Cloud9 lost to FURIA (0:2) and fell into the lower bracket of the group stage. Nevertheless, the Russian team gathered here to beat Ninjas in Pajamas (2:0) and Team Liquid (2:0), and at the same time reach the playoffs.

Having made it to the quarter-final, Cloud9 quite unexpectedly outplayed FaZe Clan (2:1), and then turned out to be stronger than BIG (2:1), making it to the grand final. Here, the wards of groove confidently defeated ENCE (3:0), thus earning $100,000.

Results of IEM Dallas 2022

  • 1st place: Cloud9 - $100,000 + 1,000 EPT points + 2,400 BLAST Premier points
  • 2nd place: ENCE - $42,000 + 750 EPT points + 1,200 BLAST Premier points
  • 3rd-4th place: FURIA and BIG — $20,000 + 525 EPT points + 750 BLAST Premier points.
  • 5th-6th place: G2 Esports and FaZe Clan — $10,000 + 350 EPT points + 225 BLAST Premier points.
  • 7th-8th place: Vitality, Team Liquid - $6,000 + 200 EPT points + 225 BLAST Premier points.
  • 9th-12th place: Astralis, MOUZ, MIBR and Ninjas in Pajamas — $5,000 + 100 EPT points.
  • 13th-16th place: Movistar Riders, Encore Esports Club, Imperial Esports and Complexity Gaming — $4,000.
