Heroic beat G2 Esports at PGL Major Antwerp 2022

The Heroic team outplayed G2 Esports with a score of 19:17 and won the second victory in the main stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Now Xizt's wards will go to the fourth round of the competition, where they will compete for the right to reach the playoffs.

The duel between Heroic and G2 Esports took place on the Vertigo map. But if the first half went in an equal fight, then after the change of sides, the G2 Esports players managed to get a good lead, at some point claiming an easy victory. However, at the very end of the second half, the Danes wisely took advantage of the opponent's mistakes to bring the series into overtime. As a result, Heroic closed out the opponent in extra time, thus obtaining the second victory in the main stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 19:17.

In turn, in the next round of the championship, G2 Esports will fight for the right to stay at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The opponent of the European team will become known at the end of the game day.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place from 9 to 22 May at the Antwerps Sportpaleis in Belgium. During the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables, as well as one ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
