German esports organization Sprout has announced the signing of a contract with lauNX. The 17-year-old Romanian esportsman is called to replace Marix, who left the team at the end of last month.
For many, this may come as a surprise! On his special day, we would like to present you our latest addition to the CS:GO roster. Please welcome lauNX to the Sprout family.
lauNX spent the last season with Nexus Gaming, together with which he won several local championships, including Romanian Esports League Season 3, East European Egames 2021 and Painkillers Cup Season 3, and also made it to the top three at TWR Eastern European Masters: Fall 2021 and EPULZE Invitational #1. However, the day before, lauNX left the organization, thus becoming a free agent.
Recall that at the end of April, Sprout announced the breakup with Marix. Together with the team, the 18-year-old Luxembourg esportsman became the winner of ESL Meisterschaft Spring 2022, and also took part in Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR.
The next tournament for the Danish-German team should be ESL Challenger League Season 41: Europe. Sprout will play in the same group as HEET, K23 and ex-MAD Lions.
From now on, Sprout's CS:GO roster is as follows:
- BERRY (coach).
